The three-day congress of the East German Savings Banks Association will be held this year from 16 to 18 September 2025 at the Kongresshotel Potsdam.
On the first day of the congress, Dirk Findeisen will explore at 4:15 p.m. how AI can be responsibly implemented in compliance functions and the “Zentrale Stelle” — balancing regulatory frameworks, technological enthusiasm, and legal liability risks. The talk will offer provocative theses, practical examples, and clear recommendations, including why lawyers don’t have to (but perhaps should) become prompt engineers, why the “Zentrale Stelle” cannot afford a black-box deal, and what governance with real substance looks like beyond buzzwords.
